• XML mapping – define xml output
• Routing information set up – user selects or automatic
• Field definition – process or maintain field in original ink
• Multi-page form support – easy navigation
• Form validation – ensure compliance prior to sending

The electronic forms are then pushed out to the Tablet PCs via file copy, HTTP, or SMTP. Field users are able to access these forms on the Tablet PC and immediately begin filling out their "smart forms" that take full advantage of the design elements built into the form as well as the pen based data input capability of the Tablet PC.
